EMC Anti-Interference Design: Protecting Vehicle Comms & Radar | LIYI

2026-07-26

Meta Description: Stop radio static from your light bar. LIYI integrates circuit filtering and shielding to ensure ECE R10 EMC compliance and protect critical police communications.

The Communication Risk:

Electromagnetic radiation from inferior warning lights can interfere with in-car radios and police radar. In emergency rescue, this is simply unacceptable. Poorly designed LED drivers act as unintended broadcast antennas, flooding the vehicle's cabin with static and disrupting critical communications.

The LIYI Approach:

During the circuit design phase, we integrate filtering and shielding designs to minimize electromagnetic radiation's impact on surrounding equipment. We use multi-layer PCBs with dedicated ground planes and strategically place common mode chokes to suppress high-frequency noise. The aluminum housing itself acts as a Faraday cage, provided the gasket conductivity is maintained.

Our Honest Commitment:

We conduct basic EMC spot checks before shipment. Although we are a small enterprise, when it comes to safety-critical EMC design, we strictly follow industry standards and never cut corners. Your officers' safety and communication clarity are our top priorities.
